After our walk on the Shadow Lake Trails my wife and I stopped in for lunch . We both ordered from the $15 lunch menu . My wife had the fish tacos while I ordered the coronation chicken sandwich , we both had the potato and broccoli soup as a side . Both meals were tasty and satisfying. The service was good and the servers friendly . Recommend this place and would return here .

We were in Waterford oh a whim looking at antiques and decided to stop in. Food was very good, large portions, and server was very friendly and attentive. We had fish and chips, kids had burger with fries and gravy and chicken strips. We got there just as they opened for lunch so got right in with no wait. The fried food was golden, not brown which was great, means they likly change the oil often.

My 90 year old grandmother and I are on a summer tour of restaurants in Norfolk County and area. We started off at the Gibbled Goose and were quite pleased with our choice. The fish and chips were excellent. The portions were very generous. The onion rings were really good! The restaurant was largely empty but the decor and general appearance were homey. Service was not incredible but definitely not bad. We were there early in the day and had the bartender as a server. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

Second time eating here. It was delicious! The staff are very welcoming and everything came promptly and was fresh and hot! If you haven't tried the Gibble Goose, you really should! Their menu is a great selection of British Pub food and Canadian favourites. You won't be disappointed!!

I ordered here for the first time and the food was OK, however the portion size and price didn’t make sense. I paid for a roughly $100 order, and the weight of everything seemed about 1-2 lbs, which lines up with the general “shrinkflation” trend. Not super happy about that. Also, the Caesar salad had shredded cheddar cheese on it…. Anyways, could be better.
