After our lunch at the Gibbling Goose my wife and I dropped in hereto learn some local history . Upon arrival we were greeted by the attendant who was very friendly and shared some interesting town history as well as the history of the building the museum is housed in . There was plenty to see and artifacts are well presented . We enjoyed our visit and it was a nice escape from the summer afternoon heat . Admission is strictly by donation .
I’d say that the Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum is very much worth a visit, especially if you’re in the area or exploring Norfolk County. You’ll come away with a better understanding of local agricultural practices, regional history, and the life of earlier generations. It’s warm, community‐oriented, educational, and has charm.
Its a peaceful place to have a walk and enjoy a coffee.
Fascinating little museum with artifacts of the agriculture and history of the Norfolk region. Often displays temporary exhibits. Self guided and admission is by donation. Cute gift shop too! Absolutely with a visit if you are in the area. Tons of information to take in!
Excellent museum of local history and farming practices. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a fantastic gift shop.
